Master Gardener Pink Ladies Gloves
Town and Country master gardener gloves are designed to have a textured grip for water and dry conditions, they are also water-resistant and comfortable. Not to mention they are one of the most popular brands of gloves on the market. For under £5, you can't go wrong with these. Available in medium. Review: "I love these gloves because the latex type coating stops you from getting cold and wet. They are lightweight, so you don't lose dexterity like some of the very thick gloves around, it also makes them comfortable to use. I have poor dexterity, so the rubbery grip also helps me to hold tools better and to open those extending garden tools that need you to twist them before they extend. They are superb gloves and wear well."

Review: "I'm a professional gardener, and I use these winter and summer, five days a week. The best for grip and comfort and literally the only glove I've ever used that doesn't wear out within days or weeks. I've tried so many brands, but this cannot be matched."

Review: "These are brilliant. I can go after the thorny stuff without worry and am able to pull weeds after it rains when the ground is nice and soft. The fit is ideal (normally wear a size 7 in gloves), but they have enough give in them that someone with larger hands would still be comfortable."
Why do you need gardening gloves?
Gardening gloves not only protect your hands but keep them warm and dry. They prevent your nails from getting dirty, they stop you from getting blisters and calluses and can prevent prickly bushes, shrubs, and thorns from scraping and cutting your hands. Additionally, if you have existing cuts or scrapes, gloves can prevent further infections. If you purchase a good pair of gloves, they can also prevent insect bites and stings.
Many people are unaware that you can also contract fungal infections from certain plants and soils.
Gardening Know How explains, “Sporotrichosis, or rose picker’s disease, is a fungal disease that causes nasty lesions and skin ulcers on people. This disease is oftentimes contracted from infected rose thorns or sphagnum peat moss.”
