Natalie Corner is a Commercial Content Editor at Bauer Media. In her role she works with Specialist brands such as Modern Gardens, What’s The Best, Take A Break Pets, and A Modern Kitchen, as well as others across the Content Commerce portfolio.
Natalie started her journalism career as an Editorial Assistant at her local newspaper back home in Yorkshire, following her graduation from the University of Central Lancashire with a degree in Journalism. After a stint as the Competition Queen and entertainment reporter, she moved to the Daily Mirror working as a television and showbiz reporter, before heading to London to join the Femail desk writing women’s lifestyle and television features.
Returning north after the pandemic, Natalie embraced her new plant parent lifestyle. Slowly amassing a collection of indoor house plants that she has been learning how to care for despite never being able to keep even a cactus alive.
Although she doesn’t have a garden, being out in nature is something that Natalie finds calming and crucial for her well-being. If she’s not sat in a field reading during the summer, she’s with her dog Dash hiking up the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
Next on her to-do list is to pick up a couple of books on taking care of houseplants, because her monstera plant’s leaves keep going brown on the edges, but it’s still growing new leaves. Baffling!
